HOW TO PREPARE- GETTING STARTED

Why Editor: I enjoyed my time as Editor for my school and also helping with the state publication the year after, so running for NJCL Editor was the next natural step. If you are experienced or interested in graphic design, editing, and / or journalism, I would encourage you to run for Editor! This position also requires time and dedication, as you will be creating three separate issues on your own and one each with your predecessor and successor, respectively. Coming up with ideas: For my campaign, I began by thinking about what I wanted to accomplish if elected. From there, I brainstormed a couple of possible acronyms that fit my goals, ultimately settling on " BEGIN." I did discuss my ideas with my sponsor and a past officer from my school.
