HOW TO PREPARE- GETTING STARTED
Why Historian: Historian is one of the most creative and artistic positions on the board and as an artist and someone who really enjoyed it at both my local and state level, it made the most sense for me to run for Historian. Additionally, I love graphic design and photography which are necessary skills for the Historian position since we grade the Photo of the Month Contest, take photos at National Convention, and make the National scrapbook. Coming up with ideas: The ideas for my campaign were created based on things I have seen and done by Georgia on the state level and what resources I wish I had as a State Historian. While my state board wasn ' t involved in the creation of my campaign, I did talk to the previous NJCL Historian, Philip Towbin, to make sure that my ideas were possible.
