two indoor pools, two gymnasiums, two playgrounds, a children’s garden, an art studio, and
Camp Hilbert—a stunning 110-acre property
in Goochland—the Weinstein JCC has the
recipe for a summer to remember!
At the Weinstein JCC, we believe in the
importance of day camp. Immersing children in nature brings new ways of learning
about the world around them and provides
a richer social, emotional, cognitive and
physical experience for developing minds
and bodies. Maximizing the beautiful and
newly renovated outdoor spaces available
off-site at Camp Hilbert and on campus at
Camp Ganim and Specialty Camps allows
every camper to embody the commandment
of “Tikkun Olam”- repairing the world.
We are committed to safety, fun, community
and informal education. Our staff is highly
trained to be supportive, build bonds with
campers, create community, challenge participants to take positive risks, and engage in
independent decision-making. Summer is a
time of growth, and all of our camp programs
are focused on making a difference in the life
of each camper.
We offer camps during every week that Richmond City and Henrico County Schools are
on summer break, and with so many different options there is something to spark every
child's interest. In the pages of this book, you'll
learn about our one and two-week Specialty
Camps, Camp Ganim Richmond’s best early

childhood day camp, and Camp Hilbert: the
best traditional day camping experience in
Richmond. All of our camps are inclusive and
offer a variety of programs to meet the needs
of our campers and their families.
The Weinstein JCC is a nurturing environment
with camps that aim to positively challenge
your child, build confidence, create community, and help all of our participants feel great
about themselves and their accomplishments.
