Campers will explore several different sculpture media and produce a variety of works ranging in material and subject. Build the human form from wire and plaster, bring a tree full circle by creating a sculptural tree from paper, examine Australian culture and design indigenous animal sculptures. Design the Runway( K-4th) Week 5: July 17-21 Instructor: Little Scholars Design your very own fashion line with us! Budding designers will create a fashion portfolio, create a one of a kind piece with recyclable goods and end the week with a Runway Show to top Fashion Week! Stars to Be( K-2nd) Week 2: June 26-30 Week 8: August 7-11( 3rd-6th) Instructor: Debra Clinton Welcome to the theater! Learn the basics, rules of the stage, intro to song and dance, how to use a prop, how to say a line. Be introduced to everything it takes to put on a show! Campers will put on a presentation on the last day of camp. There will be a performance at 11:30 a. m. on the Friday of each week of this camp. Full Day: $ 330M /$ 380NM Half Day: $ 260M /$ 310NM

Adventures & Investigations in Nature( 3rd-8th) Week 11: August 28-September 1 Campers will become more aware of environmental concerns and how to improve their personal impact while enjoying the natural resources within a VA State Park. They will investigate watersheds and wetlands, study human impact and take action in a fun, hands-on environment while conducting experiments and enjoying all the park has to offer. This camp will acquaint youth with the social and economic values of our environment and create in them a desire to save and defend from the waste of resources while developing future conservation leaders who know how to have fun in the outdoors. Full Day: $ 380M /$ 430NM Half Day: $ 310M /$ 360NM
Richmond Ballet Camps: A Midsummer Night’ s Dream( K-4th) Week 3: July 3-7( No camp July 4) Swan Lake( K-4th) Week 6: July 24-28 During a week of dance camp you will be under the direction of professional instructors from the School of Richmond Ballet! These camps feature classic age-appropriate ballet techniques with live piano accompaniment. Along with having an enjoyable experience, dance camp will also emphasize creativity, coordination, flexibility, and strength. The week concludes with an exciting and informal demonstration for campers’ families and friends. In the practice of appearing like true ballet dancers, campers should wear appropriate ballet attire including ballet shoes. Full Day: $ 350M /$ 400NM Half Day: $ 280M /$ 330NM
Bricks for Kidz: A Pirate’ s Quest( K-5th) Week 7: July 31-August 4“ Shiver me timbers” as we explore the popular culture behind the life of a pirate. Build a motorized LEGO ® pirate ship, a helm, and an anchor as we batten down the hatches and prepare for mutiny. Protect the hands on deck by building a launching LEGO ® catapult. Beware me mateys, if it’ s too late, you must abandon ship and build a LEGO ® rowboat to escape. Anchors aweigh! Watch out for crocodiles! Full Day: $ 330M /$ 380NM Half Day: $ 260M /$ 310NM
Bricks 4 Kidz: Bat League Heroes and Villains( K-5th) Week 4: July 10-14 Enter the dark city where a dangerous jokester and other villains wreak havoc. Thankfully there is a bat hero who comes out at night to fight against them! The good guys will ride into action as campers build motorized LEGO ® models of the bat hero’ s vehicle and bat girl’ s sleek motorcycle. But keep the bat light searching for the evil jokester’ s motorized LEGO ® low rider vehicle cruising through the city streets as well. Send the bat hero swinging on his grappling hook LEGO ® technic model from one skyscraper to the next as he fights crime with his trusty super sidekick.
