The Weinstein JCC ’ s Early Childhood Department offers natural outdoor playscapes that inspire children to explore and connect with nature year-round . Camp Ganim is the perfect place for children to develop a love for the outdoors through hands-on experiences like climbing trees , building bridges , catching frogs , planting gardens , and observing the wonders of the natural world .
Time spent in nature enhances children ’ s creativity , problemsolving , motor skills , and emotional well-being while fostering a sense of peace and connection . Through outdoor play , we nurture curiosity , respect , and responsibility for the environment ( Tikkun Olam ), inspiring future stewards of the earth . As Pirkei Avot 1:4 reminds us : “ If not now , when ?” At Camp Ganim , we plant the seeds of lifelong appreciation for nature and Jewish values .
