“GO” is a joyful invitation, not a stern
challenge. It is a gentle encouragement,
not a solemn command. Jesus was not
berating the disciples. He was not pushing
and harassing them. He was not detailing
some new legalism. The risen Lord was
present with them. They were puzzling
through what they might do with this
good news.
Jesus shared with them the joyful
invitation, “GO!” With wonder and
gladness, we, like the disciples, can
respond to Christ’s joyful invitation-
and “GO!”
So as we prepare to enter into the next
and newest phase of Calvary’s mission….
remember You are his disciple. We are
given the same “joyful invitation” to “GO!”
