Go on already...
by Pastor Jack Palzer
Sister and Brothers in Christ,
Jesus shares with the disciples a joyful
invitation as he was just about to ascend
back into heaven. He simply said, “GO…!”
Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15.
They had lived through three
extraordinary years. Having been called
by Jesus, the disciple lived together with
him during an amazing time. They heard

again and again. The people loved him
and followed him. They had experienced
the celebration of Palm Sunday. The
Kingdom was surely coming.

Fear and doubt overcame them. Despair,
depression, fear, and despondency
pressed in upon them. They hid for their
lives.
