Showing Up Late, Just To Amaze The Crowd!
I started figure skating when I was about five years old. I had to make a decision between figure skating and being a ballerina. I obviously picked figure skating becasue my family was really big into hockey and ice-skating. My dad was a goaly for a big hockey team, and both of my brothers played for the little league team of the Rockford Ice Hogs.
I remember the day that my mom and I first started talking about what I wanted to do. We were just about to leave the elementary parking lot when she brought it up to me. I was still very unsure on what I wanted to do.
I had a personal trainer ever since I had started firgure skating. Her name was Audra. She was very nice and sweet. My cousin, Emily, had also taken figure skating when she was living with us. We both performed in the performance of Beauty and the Beast on ice, with Audra being our trainer for that performance also.
