Dear Members ,
2020 has finally come to an end . I hope 2021 brings much needed rain . I just hope it happens during the night hours , so it won ' t interrupt our rounds of golf . The greens would greatly appreciate it .
We ’ ve recently dropped the height on the fairways to . 70 " and we will soon reduce it to . 5 " in early 2021 . We have recently made some modifications to our irrigation system to help reduce some of the wet areas on the course . We have also installed three new electronic irrigation controllers which will improve our watering efficiency . We continue to do tree work throughout the course . Our first goal is to trim the trees along the perimeter of the course .
CCC has two new members on our maintenance crew . I ask that you help me welcome them to CCC . Eleno Carlin is a greenskeeper , and Dan Jones is our new mechanic . Thanks to everyone for coming out to CCC . I hope everyone is enjoying their rounds . We are working extremely hard to provide the best possible playing conditions .
Happy Holiday Season to everyone , and a Happy New Year .
Sincerely ,

Leo Carerra
