You will need:
• 6” cake of your choice
(enough to get four 1” layers)
• 6” half ball cake of your choice
• Ganache of your choice
• Turntable
• Setup board
• 6” cake board
(cleaned with
vodka before
use)
STAGE 1
Step 1:
• Serrated knife
Trim and torte your cake
to get four 1” layers
• Spatula
• Level
• Scraper
• Small piece
of acetate
• Non slip mat
Step 2:
Step 3:

Step 5:
Time the excess off your
half ball cake and scrape
off any ‘crunchy’ edges
Place non slip mat on
your turntable followed by
your setup board
Place another piece of
non slip mat on your
setup board followed by
your 6” cake board
Spread ganache on cake
board and place one
layer of the cake on top.
Continue with ganache
and cake until you have
used up all your layers of
cake (besides the dome)
