Step 11:
Mix 5g of fondant to a medium
brown colour, break off 1/4 and
add the same amount of white
to create some light brown also.
Mix a pea size amount of blue
fondant. To make a paint brush
stick, roll a small amount of
medium brown into a sausage
and taper down one end. Repeat
this three times for 3 paint
brush sticks. Cut each stick to
approximately 2.5cm long, then
put two aside. With the third
brush stick, cut each a 5mm
section off each and then set
them aside. To make the bristles
end of the paint brush, roll two
small balls of light brown and
then roll one of the same size ball
in each colour. Cut all the balls in
half. Add a little glue, then stick
one half of each colour with one
half of the light brown. Roll them
gently between your fingertips
to smooth the seam. Pinch the
coloured end to create the tip,
flatten it a little then curl it around
slightly. Use a small amount of
glue to attach your paint-dipped
bristles to the paint brush handle.
Step 12:
Dab a small amount of glue on
to each side of your bunny’s paw
and attach the paint brush top
and bottom.
Step 13:
Roll out your pink and blue
fondant to 1mm thick. Cut
stripes, polka dots or other
decorations like stars or hearts to
decorate your egg.
