Step 7 :
Carefully pour and work with a ball of the Fuchsia . Mine weighed 60 grams . Roll in your hand to create a teardrop shape – keep in your hands longer than you need to , so that it keeps its shape when you put it down .
Step 8 :
To the same for Santa ’ s head – this needs to be a round shape and I used 18 grams of Isomalt .
Step 9 :
Roll a little round nose for Santa – this weighed 1.3 grams of Isomalt
Step 10 : Step 11 :
Use some more of the Fuchsia to make 2 arms – remember to shape then in oposties not the same side ! 9I ; ve done this before !) The arms weighed 3 grams each . Use the Loyal tool to give details to the crook of the elbows .
By now your base ( if you are using one ) is cool and ready to be used . Unmold from the egg mold . Using your heat gun – I use a mini one ( available on my website ) as it gives me a better control of the heat , heat a patch of the snowflake base , and the base of Santa ’ s body and secure into place .
