Step 6:
Once you have added all the mushrooms (as many
as you wish), add more colourful texture to the
cake. Make a small fondant ball (0.5-1cm) and put
it around the mushrooms using a fondant tool.
Step 7:
Blue fantasy
mushrooms: create
a small fondant ball
(1-3 cm) and wrap it on
another fondant tool or
paint brush. Brush one
side of this mushroom
with water and ‘glue’ it
to the cake.
Step 8:
Green roots: create a fondant sausage (length: 2-5 cm, thickness: 1-1.5cm).
Flatten the sides of it and press gently down. Using a brush, ‘glue’ the roots
on the cake.
