Should we be doing more?
People have a natural urge to help others, especially in the season of giving. Organizations such as the Christmas Mother provide ways to be generous. I have seen in many cases though, that some of the richer population have become "Scrooges." The economy is not in great shape, but even the more fortunate are becoming more stingy with their money and resources. I have experienced cases where frugality comes in handy to enhance the holiday of their own family. Nonetheless, people need to be giving especially in the world we live in today. Money may be scarce sometimes, but think of all the children who won't get in presents this holiday.
