Planning Your 4th of July

PATROTIC COOLER

Among the more patriotic days on the American calendar, the 4th of July is also among the most festive. Fireworks displays occur across the country, and backyard barbecues commonly begin in the afternoon and last well into the night. I wanted to ensure guests that 4th of July parties go off without a hitch can consider the following tips.

I didn’t think it would work, the key is ICE!!! It won’t work unless you have ice!!!

Here is the fun part….decorating! When you are planning a Fourth of July gathering you will need to think about some kind of decorating theme. Most people will adorn their backyard with red, white and blue streamers and balloons. Some other things you might consider adding would be a tablecloth, napkins and plates that are red, white, and blue or you can choose ones that have a picture of the flag or fireworks.

Just keep in mind that you are going to want to purchase plenty of paper plates and napkins for the cookout, this way you won’t have a pile of dishes to wash once your evening has ended. If you are planning on having a theme party be sure to research what theme you are choosing so you can decorate and plan your party accordingly.

One big thing I miss out on is entertainment, and end up throwing something together at the last minutes is entertainment. Will you have horse shoes, corn hole, a swimming pool, have a stereo system set up, or will it be a social event? Whatever you have planned, be sure to inform your guests so that they know how to dress and if they need to bring a change of clothes.
