2. The University of Languages and International Studies and Tokushin Group signed the official cooperation agreement
On March 6th, 2018, University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Ha Noi and the Tokushin Group held a signing ceremony of joint cooperation agreement.
3. ULIS signed the cooperation agreement with Victoria University of Wellington
On March 20th, 2018, University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Ha Noi and Victoria University of Wellington (VUW, New Zealand) held a signing ceremony of joint cooperation agreement.
At the working session, Mr. Kobayashi Yuji – President of Tokushin Group, introduced that Tokushin Vietnam was a member of Tokushin Group, a Japanese corporation specializing in construction. President Do Tuan Minh extended his sincere thanks to Tokushin Group for its attempt and goodwill in building and promoting the partnership with the university. He also spoke highly of the company’s potential development in Vietnam, and expressed great expectation for the cooperative relation with the company.
At the ceremony, under the mutual agreement of the two sides, a memorandum of understanding was signed to cover cooperation on employment and internship. The agreement is valid for a 5-year term with a renewal provision. In addition, the representatives of both sides discussed the implementation of upcoming cooperative activities as soon as possible, particularly the forthcoming F.I.R.E 3 festival. The signing ceremony between ULIS and Tokushin Group was successful and would surely act as premises for a long-lasting relationship and potential partnership between the two sides.
At the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh and Prof. John Macalister represented the two universities to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation. Both sides decided to cooperate in some domains as: student and lecturer exchange, short-course organization, teaching partnership, research, etc.
In the meeting, representatives of both sides discussed to specify collaborative activities such as organizing internship, short courses, higher educational governance, joint training programs, etc. in the upcoming time. The discussion ushered in initial success for a long-term cooperation with great hope in a positive relationship between the two sides.
