2. Welcoming and working with President of the International University of Japan

On January 23th 2018, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) had a meeting with the delegation of the International University of Japan led by Mr. Itami Hiroyuki, its President.

In the meeting, Mr. Itami Hiroyuki expressed his gratitude to ULIS for supporting the International University of Japan activities such as representative office opening, international cooperation and Japanese training development in Vietnam. On behalf of the Management Board, Vice president Ngo Minh Thuy respectfully thanked for the collaboration of Mr. Itami Hiroyuki and the International University of Japan over the past years. She believed that cooperation between the two sides was potential and the two universities needed to actively implement more

3.Meeting the Executive Director of May School

On March 16th, 2018, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) met the working group of May School.

At the meeting, Vice president Nguyen Xuan Long and Ms. Minh Nga – Executive Director of May School discussed cooperation opportunities in training, recruitment, internship and others.

Both sides agree to sign an official MOU as soon as possible to lay a strong foundation for implementing cooperative activities in the upcoming time. In addition, Ms. Nga, on behalf of May School, presented a donation of 30,000,000 VND for ULIS Job Fair on April 6th, 2018. May School, recognized as the workplace of many ULIS alumni, would like to support the university in organizing meaningful activities for students.

Established in 1996, May School specializes in teaching English for children from 5 to 15 years old.
