“Sparkles-2016”, a one day youth gathering for the young people in Bengaluru was held in two places on 4th and 5th of September. Around 320 young people were blessed in these gatherings and many committed their lives to God. Praise God! Chezhian, Mrs. Manonmani Srinivasan, Mrs. Esther Rani and Dr. Prabhavati. Many committed their lives to Christ. One of our well-wisher gave us the school campus for the camp and we could also raise all the needs for the camp locally. Praise Him! Teachers Conference was held in Chennai, Erode, Tanjore, Madurai and Oddanchatram in which 479 were blessed. First Youth Meet in Bilaspur, Chattisgarh The Lord enabled us to organize a one-day youth retreat in Bilaspur. 67 boys and girls participated in this inter-denominational gathering in which missionary couple R. Elisha and Deena brought the Word of God. The participants were touched by the sermons and songs. All of them committed their lives to Christ. Thanks to Rev. Asna and the Committee members of the Disciples' Church for their active involvement in this programme. Our lay leader Mr. Akhil's contribution was commendable. All Glory to God! Sujitkumar Nag , 8 year old son of our missionary in Odisha, Kailash Nag went to be with the Lord on 27th August. He was undergoing treatment in CMC for Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome. He did not respond to the treatment and developed severe complications. Pray for the comfort of the family. (The total expenses of the treatment was Rs. 5.5 lakhs. Funds received in excess shall be kept under Major Medical Fund, to be used for any emergencies for missionaries and the kids in the future). First Aroma in Andhra Pradesh Aroma was held for the young girls for three days from 11th to 14th August in Kakinada. 220 girls were blessed by the messages given by Mrs. Minvelli Sapphire, Mrs. Premalatha |PAGE 9|
