Crossing Rivers & Scaling Mountains
(Report of the happenings in Blessing Youth Mission during the period from April 2018 to March 2019)
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ who has warned us to be
'Watchful' in these last days.
Compared to the previous year's report we
could see an exponential growth in most of the areas
of the ministry, expect a few.
Each day as we read the newspaper reports, it is
obvious that the Lord's Coming is at hand. There is an
increase in violence and gender crimes and political
landscapes are changing very fast. We are at a crucial
stage in the history of Indian Missions. There was a
time when we were dependent on the foreign
missionaries but after 1950s God started to raise
many indigenous Mission movements just like ours
to be a blessing for our Nation. But the next era will
be the 'Native-Workers Era'. It is our duty to open our
eyes to the immense possibilities of raising, training
and appointing them as future local church leaders.
Staff are an indispensible asset to any
organization. As with any organization, staff-care is a
challenging work. But by His grace we had taken
several steps to improve staff care and redress
grievances then and there. One such initiative was
the Inner Healing Meet which was organized for the
senior missionaries at Chennai from 7th to 9th
December.
1) Revival Ministry
We also had a Mentorship Review Meet
through which we could review the Staff Individual
Mentorship Programme (SIMP) at large.
