Sorry for the dramatic start. Well, that petite boy was ready…you know. Alright, I'll come to the
point. Feeling chivalric like David? Nay…You should be, or do you prefer slipping away. Oh
come on, I thought you were a child of God scared of no forces on the Earth. Are you not? While all
the valiant and skilled soldiers were phobic towards the giant, this weeny fellow jumps into action
and slice….His head is on the salver. And trust me it was with a sling and a stone and not our ultra-
sharp ninja knives. He surrendered his life to God, otherwise he wouldn't be able to achieve this
feat. “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord” (Prov 21:31).
Victory always goes with those who trust God and do things that pleases Him. I think we
need some gearing up before we commence into a victorious life. I say let's go for it. Perfect!
Keep Your Gun Loaded
As if you are an action hero…of course you are. Don't you know that you have been sent
here on a mission? The goal is to live a life bereft fear and courageously fight the storms in life to
reach eternity. A legacy must be left behind so that others may walk in your shoes. That is why
being loaded would always help. I mean with prayer you could fight daily against our greatest
foe…you know the loser. Satan may be powerful but not as our Father. Dire need of the day is to
fight hard the battles in life so that we could receive the reward in Heaven. In 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Paul
says, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in
store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on
that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
So surge forward with your arms and don't forget to load it when it gets empty. You need to
keep on fuelling yourself so as to reach your destination.
Be Prepared For Your Exams
The road you take will be ubiquitous with turmoil and you will be tested according to your
potential. If you press on and overcome, you are a winner and an ace. God tests us sometimes to
check our faith, so if we are geared up and totally prepared, then it will be very simple for us to
clear it. Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” If Jesus
Christ be our strong suit then why be afraid. If we trust and believe in Christ then we will always
