JULY 2017 A 'Blesso' To Remember! (Report of the 3-Day Annual Meet of Blessing Youth Mission held in Trichy, TN) “We have not heard such messages on reconciliation elsewhere” “I started to witness and give tracts the very next day” “Decided to spend more time with my kids and husband” “I decided to speak to my dad immediately” “I must make atleast one child as missionary” “I have decided to win atleast one soul this year” These were some of the remarks of the participants about the recently held Blesso 2017 in Trichy from 25th to 28th May. The theme of the camp was 'Reconciliation' which is a rare topic discussed these days. Bishop Heber College campus was buzzing with men, women, youth and children on all three days as the total number of registered participants were adding upto 1229. Of this, approximately 400 were young people. Praise God! The theme talks included topics such as : “Importance and Hindrances of Reconciliation”, “Steps For Reconciliation” , “Boundaries of Reconcilation”, “ Reconcilation In Families” and “Reconciliation and Second Coming.” During the afternoon, separate sessions were held for married and young people. In the evening, children from our 'Blessing Homes' in North India performed cultural programmes. On the second day morning there was a separate session for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Many were filled with the Holy Spirit for the first time. In the evening a team from Thiruvallur enacted the life of missionary BartholomewZiegenbalg. Many were inspired by the drama and decided to do something for God. A new book by Mr. A. Lionel “Showers of Blessing” was dedicated in the Camp. Also the tamil translation of missionary Jason's book “Heart Cry of God” and the life story of missionary Rebecca Thomas 'From Sun to Son' were also dedicated. Mr. R. Stanley's 'Bible Holiness' in Tamil was also introduced. Rs.1,80,000/- worth literature was sold in the camp. As an outcome of this camp, 78 Nehemiah teams, 25 Deborah teams, 16 SFJ prayer cells and 16 slum area ministry were formed. 44 people have expressed their willingness to collect offerings for the Mission and 13 committed for full time missionary work. 16 new sponsors have pledged to sponsor tribal children's education. 32 have promised to sup
