They will be ministering in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Obituaries Dr. Alex (Age 49) brother of Mr.Elango (Ex- Literature Coordinator) went to be with the Lord on May 5. He had a massive heart attack. He is survived by wife Hannah and two teen-aged children. Dr. Alex served as a missionary Doctor among the Bondo tribes in Odisha for several years before shifting to Oddanchatram. He had been helping us in the Marriage Enrichment Seminars. Mrs.Usha Ebenezer (Age 63) wife of our retired missionary Mr. Ebenezer went to be with the Lord on 14th May. She was serving the Lord in BYM for 27 years. Mrs.Sellammal (Age 75), mother of missionary Bercy Jason went to be with the Lord on 15th May. Pray for consolation of the family members. 'Adopt - A - State' MissionaryVisit Programme April 2-9, 2017 Under Bless Bharat, the Lord of Harvest gave us a remarkable visit programme by the missionaries of the adopted States. This programme was really a blessing to many and challenged the partners. The missionaries in turn were encouraged. Our partners promised the missionaries that they would increase their prayers and support. In some instances, our partners cried and prayed on hearing the field realities from the missionaries. The outcome of the programmes are given below: 24 'Partners' Meet' were conducted through which 950 partners were blessed and challenged. Missionaries shared the Word of God in 42 churches. 2385 believers were encouraged to involve in Missions. 12 youth prayer cells were visited and 185 young people were motivated to involve in Missions. 218 houses of the partners were visited. 35 cottage prayer meetings were conducted in which 1166 were blessed. 3 missionary conventions were organized exclusively in which 250 were given the mission focus. 6 institutions were visited by the missionaries. Telugu and Oriya language people were visited and the missionaries shared the Word of God. 122 women were encouraged to involve in evangelism through 'Deborah Gatherings.' |PAGE 17|
