A Dedicated Mission Volunteer
Soon after his Salvation, he became an ardent
soulwinner. He joined the 'Nehemiah Team' in
Thanjavur and regularly visited the nearby villages.
He became a 'Pledge Collector' and mobilized
support for missionary work. He mobilized 21
missionary sponsors during the last 2 years alone. He
was an unstoppable personality. He took various
teams to North India and challenged the laymen to
take part in Indian Missions. He was a regular
contributor towards missionary kids education, Mk's
marriage and their emergency medical expenses. He
initiated a plan to send birthday gifts to all missionary
kids through the BYM unit of Tanjore. He was the
BYM District Coordinator of Thanjavur for more
than 20 years. Even before 3 days of his demise, he
mobilized 5 lakhs for a Church construction in North
India.
His wife Mrs.Kavitha Ephraim and daughter
Zibiah always stood alongside with him in his
ministerial endeavours. He was regularly teaching
the Bible with clarity in small groups and in many
Churches. No wonder he was conferred an Honorary
Doctorate in Theology last December, for his
contributions in the field of Bible teaching.
Even when he was diagnosed with Cancer
three years back, his heart was always for the
ministry. This solider of Christ fought his battles very
bravely till the last breath of his life. He suffered a
massive heart block and was operated upon. On April
8th he entered the eternal glory several days after the
surgery. His life is worth emulating (2Ti 4:7,8).
