New Uber prices are calculated the same way as before based on traffic, time, distance, number of Uber requests and amount of Uber drivers in the area. This unfortunately means you might still end up paying an absurd charge to get home at night, but at least you will know the price prior to taking the ride.
The song finally makes sense now, who wouldn’t want to ‘Uber Everywhere’ with their transparent pricing? Nobody knows what took Uber so long to get ride of the surge pricing, just be happy they did!
