The best advice for a newbie participating in SantaCon is to pace yourself and create a buddy system with your friends. SantaCon tends to have a bad rep for getting out of control, but what else would you expect when day-drinking, barhopping and Santa suites are involved?

This means the only preparation needed is to style your best SantaCon outfit and get some rest because these Christmas lovers like to get an early start and you don’t want to be behind. Getting creative with your SantaCon outfit is part of the fun. The more whacky and clever you dress up, the better. SantaCon thrives on festive partygoers who take pride in their normally ridiculous outfits.
