The Netball-Basketball hybrid, which consists of four men and four women in a team, is an up and coming sport in Wales. After finishing fourth in the Welsh Regional League last year, Cardiff University are out for revenge against the side who pipped them to second place last season. Over 200 competitors will compete in the two races – at 11am and 2.30pm – and rowers from clubs in Wales, the west of England and the West Midlands will fight it out over the 3.5km course – the junior race is 2.5km.
