DOWN TO THE WIRE
Homed here in Wales is NoFit State, the UK’s leading contemporary
circus. Formed in 1986 and continuing to grow, they are now
seeking to embark on an hair-raising fundraising event and are
on the lookout for thrill-seeking volunteers. Daredevils are being
invited to take part in a specialist high wire workshop, taught by
world-class instructors Chris Patfield and Ellis Grover. Suitable for
any level, participants will receive in-depth training before they
hit the high wire themselves in the circus’ main space. In return
NoFit State will ask volunteers to raise sponsorship funds, half of
which will go directly towards a new circus space for NoFit State
in Adamsdown. It’s also a great opportunity to do some high wire
celeb spotting, with Harry Potter actor Chris Rankin (Peter Weasly)
signed up. DJ
