ALL ABOUT ANATOMY
When you think of exploring anatomy, the use of performance or art as a medium probably
sounds strange. However there has always been a link between these, dating back to
the lavish anatomy theatres of 16th-century Italy, or think of the infamous Gunther von
Hagens, whose art exhibition of preserved human bodies have caused controversy around
the world.
This is exactly what the Anatomy Season is all about, exploring anatomy through a series
of exhibitions, performances and workshops.
The Wales Millennium Centre’s Anatomy Season will see artists, performers, anatomists,
medics and thinkers giving a comprehensive view of the human form and all its beauty,
intricacy, strength and fragility.
This unique exploration of what goes on under our skin is designed to challenge the
audience and stimulate questions. How much do we really know about what is going
on inside us, and how much do we really want to find out?
A distinctive and inspiring experience for the brave and the curious. DC

For one day only Cardiff is going to be hit hard by a moustache
conga, a parade of facial hair, real or stick-on, as one huge
moustache family will be uniting against Prostate Cancer,.
It’s safe to say facial fur has well and truly hit the high street,
so come and show off your moustache, wear it proud. And
ladies, have a milky coffee moustache ready. Mo brothers and
Mo sisters are marching through Cardiff, aiming to raise money
and awareness in aid of Movember.
Even if you’re not a runner, it’s not running, it’s Morunning!
There are no excuses as you can choose to do a simple 5k
stretch, or push yourself further and with the 10k run instead.
Either way you will be making a difference. MP
