Places to pick your own fruit Summer is upon us and we’re feeling fruity, so here are some of the berry best places in South Wales for fruit picking. HENDREWENNOL FRUIT GARDEN Bonvilston, Cowbridge. On Sat 21 and Sun 22 June they will even be hosting a strawberry festival with food, drink and cooking demonstrations all inspired by the little red fruit. NICHOLASTON FARM Gower, Swansea. With over 20 acres of land, and all the fruit dedicated to ‘pick your own’, there will more plenty to harvest for yourself. BERRY HILL FRUIT FARM Coedkernew, Monmouthshire. This village farm has 15 varieties of apples, five varieties of plums, three varieties of pear and gooseberries to choose from as well plenty of animals to keep you entertained. ABERBRAN FAWR FARM CAMPING Aberbran, Brecon.
