Looking forward to the Six Nations already? Well you
can get your rugby fix this bank holiday and see the
best that Welsh club rugby has to offer. The National
Sevens tournament will be more than just a match
though, as they add several festivities to make the day
filled with fun. There will be live music and fancy dress
competitions to add a festival-like air to the day.

CRUG MAWR FESTIVAL 2014
Bring an end to the summer season with one
final festival. The Crug Mawr festival is a two day
extraganza dedicated to Welsh language talent (with
free camping for the weekend for hardcore festivalgoers). In addition to acts such as Swnami, Ail
Symudiad and Sen Segur, there will be a beer tent, a
dance tent, and stalls to make the weekend fun. With
homegrown acts on the grounds of the historic Battle
Of Crug Mawr, what could be a more Welsh weekend?

THE WORLD ALTERNATIVE GAMES
The Brazilian World Cup might be all over but the
much more niche World Alternative Games are
making an appearance in Llanwrtyd Wells again
this year. Participants from all over the world will be
coming to Wales to indulge in some competitive bog
snorkelling, worm charming, finger jousting, belly
flopping, husband dragging and gravy wrestling.
Lonely Planet has described the Games as one of
the top 50 ‘must do’ things from around the world
and the friendly organisers also welcome fancy dress
