To have a successful brainstorming process you must follow these seven steps; 1.) sharpen the focus, 2.) playful rules, 3.) number your ideas, 4.) build and jump, 5.)space remembers, 6.) stretch your mental muscles and 7.) get physical. 8.) Prototypes Beat Pictures:
When submitting an idea it is important to build a prototype. It is easy to turn down a flat drawing, but a physical object that they can interact with is different.

Brainstorming is very important in the creative process but there are ways to kill a brainstorming session. Here are six factors to avoid when brainstorming; 1.) the boss gets to speak first, 2.) everyone gets a turn, 3.) experts only please, 4.) do it off-site, 5.) no silly stuff and 6.) write everything down. brainstorming is crucial to new concept development and avoiding those factors will give you a higher success rate. pg 64-66

Putting the right team together is very important, you need to have a team that can work together well and challenge each other.

A greenhouse refers to their work space, this needs to be a space where they can grow and flourish. turning your employees work spaces into a greenhouse effect is a challenge but when done right will help creativity flow and teams work together efficiently. pg 121-122

All companies will have their ups and downs, but it is how you recover that makes the real difference. When you have a project that fails you need to learn from it and move on, you cannot let it hold you back from achieving your other goals or projects. Once you learn from this you and your company will grow.
