Looking out now, I see the 5th wave lasting past 2020 and even into
2030 before another innovative cycle begins. I say this because those
technologies that have the potential to turn into a major changer are
still small and extremely rare and expensive. Were I an oracle, my bet
would be interplanetary or deep sea living and manned exploration on
a large scale. We will have to wait and see how my vision turns out.

cataclysmic expansion of information and as well as the
communication technologies. The fifth wave innovation includes the
evolutions of mobile phones into life devices through the use of 3G,
GPS, cloud computing, and the so-called second generation
barcoding. As stated by (Butterworth, 2010), fifth wave technology
innovation is the time wherein the mobile internet has been massively
ramping up. Technology is still innovating and revolutionizing as
year’s passes by and it definitely change people’s lives, their daily
