Thank you to all those who attended our first ever "Picnickin' & Politickin’" event Thursday, May 19th at the Art Center of Corpus Christi! The weather cleared just in time for our group to arrive and we had a large showing of elected officials, candidates and community members attend this new and unique event. The evening was fun and casual and allowed for elected officials and candidates seeking office to meet and mingle with Chamber and community members in a relaxed atmosphere. Officials and Candidates from the state and local level were invited to attend. We were honored to have the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, with us as well as numerous local elected officials and candidates.
Live music, great food and a lively atmosphere help lay the foundation for what we hope will be an annual event!
