Try a physical puzzle While previously mentioned brain teasers are certainly handy, jigsaw or other spatial puzzles provide a different approach to problem solving. Rather than zeroing in on a detailed solution, you’re forced to take a step back to see what the bigger picture can be. This way of thinking can be useful when confronted with issues in the workplace with no obvious answer. Run a lap or two If you’re not a runner that’s ok, but you need to find some form of exercise you enjoy. This is both a mental and physical booster.
