06 Exploring new things
07 Eternal youth
08 Environment
When you take a step away from your normal habits and ways of living you
will often find yourself to be more adventurous. This is the perfect time to
start exploring new recipes, exotic ingredients, oriental spices and exciting
flavors. Look for inspiration all around, search the web, get yourself some
great cook books and get creative in the kitchen.
You might not live forever or look like a 10-year-old when you turn 90,
but studies have shown that vegans live longer. Another added benefit
from eating an abundance of fruit and vegetables is also looking more
youthful. By eating food that nourishes and strengthens the body you
can slow down the aging process. So why not take good care of yourself,
eat plant based food and exercise regularly and enjoy feeling and looking
better further down the line.
If one diet and lifestyle can change the world it is most certainly
veganism. How you ask? There are many ways. One of the biggest factors
of our personal ecological footprint is how we eat. Studies have shown
that a varied vegan diet requires about a third of the land needed for a
conventional Western diet based on meat and other animal products. It
also takes 3 times less water to feed a vegan compared to a meat eater.
Eating less or no animal product at all will therefor contribute to higher
quantities of food being produced, more water available and less water
pollution, also worth mentioning is less contribution to global warming,
deforestation, land degradation and species extinction.
