We have established a central website
(www.visitguides.co.uk) that will feature
listings, reviews, maps and guides to towns
across the Cotswolds. All of the information
and editorial from the Visit Guides will also
be included on this website. There will be
links directly to the website from the digital
guide. The website is fully searchable and
incorporates Google Maps.
Social Media
Dedicated Twitter accounts are run for every
town in the Visit Guides community, and we
will Tweet regularly about the town and our
business partners. We connect with local
businesses, people and societies to share
and spread their news.
PR
Not content with producing excellent,
informative guides, we will spread the word
about how brilliant the destinations are.
We will write features and press releases
and send them to our online database of
thousands of journalists across the UK.
Being journalists ourselves, we know what
other journalists want, how they want it, and
when they want it. We have also formed
partnerships with professional photographers
who live locally to produce stunning imagery
for the guides and for potential media
coverage. We can also provide PR services
to individual businesses..
PARTNERSHIPS
In order to run the Visit Guides we rely on the support
of local business partners – the kinds of businesses
that will benefit most, such as hotels, restaurants,
shops and attractions.
We are looking for an annual commitment from
partners and will work together to promote them and
their town.

WHAT IT COSTS
Partners pay just £500 per year for advertising, editorial
coverage, website listings, social media marketing and
international PR campaigns.
