CIRO ’ s Academic Courses Launch for 2025
On Saturday , 5th October , CIRO ’ s academic courses were officially launched at The Wesley Hotel in Central London , marking the start of the Certificate , Diploma and Degree for the 2024 cohort . CIRO and Glasgow Caledonian University ( GCU ) are delighted to welcome our latest cohort of academic students .
In addition to launching the academic programme , the annual launch offers an opportunity for students to form valuable connections with their peers , tutors , and CIRO and GCU representatives . The interactive sessions throughout the day allow attendees to ask questions , share their aspirations and also any apprehensions they may have about the academic journey they are about to embark upon .
CIRO ’ s academic programmes are designed to encourage a whole system approach to learning about
rail . This ensures that students on the programmes complete their courses with a holistic understanding of the industry and their role within it . This way , we believe that they are better equipped to navigate the challenging and dynamic landscape of rail , and to thrive and succeed in the industry . This ultimately propels the industry forward towards positive change and innovation .
