MEET THE NEW FACE OF THE BUas COMMUNITY

As the crisp Autumn leaves continue to fall and students are hard at work , our university ’ s vibrant campus is once again abuzz with life . If you listen carefully , between the sounds of lectures and the HUB live , you might have noticed the hum of something newly alive . The BUas community has grown by one more , by the creation of our very own university mascot , Buzz the BUas bee .
Born in the honey hives on the rooftop of the Frontier building , Buzz has been created to be our university ’ s very own event cheerleader , social media assistant , a student motivator , and connector . Our busy bee mascot dreams of a beautiful orange community with cross-pollination between the domains . Buzz hopes that he can help interconnect the BUas community , bringing out the best of all the university ’ s worlds and students in order to create sustainable solutions to the environmental and societal issues we as a society face .

Soon the BUas Tik Tok , Instagram and Facebook accounts will be abuzz with Buzz , documenting his adventures within the different domains , reporting from BUas events and posting photos of himself with the university ’ s community .
