Evan Hammond
Currently a fourth year Bachelor of
Landscape Architecture student at
the Boston Architectural College, Evan
balances working at Warner Larson in
Boston, MA, and pursuing his education
full time at the BAC. He chose this field,
he says, “because the balance of art
and science inherent in landscape
architecture provides a unique platform
for exercising very different aspects of
my personality while advancing the
hands on work I appreciate. Also, the
more I was exposed to the issues of
sustainability, the more I felt compelled
to undertake a profession that would
both create solutions for emerging
problems and help preserve the places
and things I enjoy.”
Jacob Sippy
A licensed landscape architect with six
years of professional experience and a
Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree
from Colorado State University, Jacob
Sippy is currently a Master in Landscape
Architecture candidate at Harvard’s
Graduate School of Design. Interested
in “engaging with the future of design
technology,” Jacob seeks to push the digital
representation of landscape architecture
beyond rendering into the role of a
design tool integrated into a sophisticated
design process. Jacob acted as the Digital
Design and Delivery Lead while employed
at Design Workshop and has continued
his exploration of digital techniques while
at Harvard.
