CHILD PROTECTION POLICIES
On May 4, 1990, the Board of Directors of Brother Rice examined, adopted, and promulgated two policies regarding“ Child Protection” and“ Child Abuse and Neglect”. The first policy concerns itself with any faculty and / or staff person alleged to be involved in the abuse of a child in school either emotionally, sexually, or physically. The second policy deals with a faculty and / or staff person suspecting“ Child Abuse and Neglect” by either a parent or guardian. State Law of Michigan mandates reporting incidents of both abuses. The full and entire document is available to each family upon written request made to the Principal.
