We also offer information on grandparents raising
grandchildren. PCAHC participates in community health
fairs and events and collaborate and serve on committees
with many other agencies in the community.
Some other things that PCAHC does in the community
are a child abuse awareness campaign each year in April
called "Pinwheels for Prevention". We collaborate with
other agencies in the community to "Paint Henry
Blue" during child abuse prevention month. Blue
pinwheels, bows and signs are displayed all over the county
as a reminder of child abuse prevention month and
pinwheels vigil is held.

>>> May 15th we will be participating in the Children's
Charity Challenge at Top Golf Midtown, in Atlanta. This
new take on golf tournaments allows multiple children's
charities the unique opportunity to raise funds for our cause
while creating awareness. Through the participation of the
people like your readers, either through sponsoring
a PCAHC dedicated team or deciding who their entry fees
should be allotted once they register to play. We have
information available on the website.
>>> We have a Golf Tournament on September 9, 2016 at
Crystal Lake Golf Club. People are welcome to get a team
together or we would love help with a sponsorship for this
fun event.

RR: We met at the PCAHC golf tournament fundraiser,
then I volunteered at you BBQ competition. Your team
really knows how to have a fun time while doing greats
things for the community, don't they?

RR: How can someone donate to PCAHC?

PCAHC: Yes, we had a great time at our Henry County
Backyard BBQ Cookoff. We loved having you there to
help with the event and make it such a fun time for the
participants in the ccok off as well as all of the attendees.
Tasting all of that BBQ was wonderful but I am sure all of
the judges had a really hard time choosing the winners
RR: What events do you have in which the public can get
involved? Do

need
volunteers
for
any
upcoming projects?
PCAHC: Yes, we can always use volunteers in the First
Steps program, mentioned above as well as working
members for the Board of Directors or to serve on
fundraising event committees.
