Zer0Dep by EuropAssistance - for clients
The management of the security deposit can often generate , in our experience , problems and small disputes during check-out related to the assumption of responsibility by clients and the quantification of small and medium-sized damage . To remedy this , Emma Villas has defined Zer0Dep for their clients and owners .
• This is an insurance to cover any property damage accidentally caused by clients during their stay . This policy , which is paid exclusively by the client , was developed in partnership with EuropAssistance and is provided for all clients as it is included in the total booking price .
The name , Zer0Dep , which stands for " Zero deposit ", was chosen to facilitate understanding by both Italian and foreign clients , although this policy does not eliminate the protection guaranteed by the security deposit , but simply replaces it with insurance coverage that guarantees up to a maximum of € 1,500 per booking , with an absolute deductible of € 50 for minor damage ( eg breakage of glasses , dishes , etc .).
Zer0Dep therefore eliminates the difficulties related to the management of the security deposit and the quantification of the damage during check-out and avoids possible disputes , allowing the client to protect himself in the case of accidental damage while guaranteeing first risk coverage also to the owner . Furthermore , the client , having already incurred the cost of Zer0Dep during the booking phase , will be more willing to take responsibility for the damage caused and , during the check-out phase , through a simple signature on a form ( which will eliminate any criticality at check-out ), will allow the owner to open the claim with EuropAssistance . The company , after an insurance report , will then reimburse the owner directly .
