"Ahgggggghhhhhhh!” she shrieked. And with that, she leapt out of the water. Just then she bumped into a ghoul coming the other way. The pale green ghoul got up and held out a hand to help Cleo up. As Cleo got up the ghoul said, “Hi! I’m Frankie. Frankie Stein.” “Cleo De Nile,” said Cleo reluctantly. As they shook hands Cleo felt a bolt of electricity up her arm. She looked up to see that her hair stood up on her head. “Sorry. I should have mentioned it. I’m a daughter of Frankenstein. I guess this is my freaky flaw,” said Frankie. “See you later! And sorry!” called Frankie as Cleo scampered away.

Back at school it was lunch time. Cleo could hear whispering amongst the guys and ghouls: “……Cleo………crazy………what was she thinking………..and so on. The only ghouls that weren’t talking about Cleo were Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura and Ghoulia Yelps. Instead they were talking about the latest stuff. “Hey, did you watch ‘Fright School 2’ last night? It was EPIC!” growled Clawdeen. “Ugggghhhhh.” said Ghoulia slowly. “Yeah, it was killer,” replied Lagoona, appearing at the table. “Ahem,” said Cleo. “Yes.” Asked Draculaura. “What do you want?” “I would like to sit down,” Cleo said snootily. “What’s the magic word?” Clawdeen and Draculaura said in unison. “Please,” mumbled Cleo under her breath. “Welcome to table fab,” said Clawdeen with a smile. Just as Cleo was sitting down, a ghoul with long purple and white hair glided up to the table. “Hi,” said Spectra, “I hear you’re having a bad day.”

“Oh, FINALLY someone noticed!” mumbled Cleo sarcastically. “Oh my ghoul, it’s bed time!” said Lagoona, pointing at the grey clock. “I never noticed the time!”

“Thank you!”sighed Cleo, “Just what I need. I have to sleep this off.” She climbed up the winding staircase. She sleepily climbed into bed. The next morning she jumped out of bed put on her clothes and rushed out. “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!”
