Bridge Foundation has embarked on a (3) day Seminar called the School Transformation Project. The (3) day seminar creates a planning framework and provides tools for the development of a strategic plan for successful management of a school to foster a positive school environment. TRAINING AT TUNAPUNA SECONDARY SCHOOL, OCTOBER 2014 The plan will address strategies and methods to address student attitudes and their development and to create a positive school culture that fosters: 1) 2) 3) healthy communication among staff and students; a responsive curriculum and implementation of best practices and activities that impact and influence school culture; and development of consensus- driven conflict resolution policies. . Connecting Dots: Attitudes to Outcomes Project in Mon Repos : Under the leadership of Barbara Bridgewater, Bridge Foundation is working in Mon Repos, Trinidad with ICON funding from Citizen Security Programme to engage young people living in the Mon Repos community to develop positive attitudes towards their environment and community. Young people engage in role play, self-confidence building interactive activities and games and collaboratively identified potential community improvement community projects. Next year, with additional ICON funding their projects will become a reality.
