Bridge Foundation received over 260 books and donated books to schools participating in Read for the Record Day. Schools also received a Jumpstart selected book and a Once Upon a Caribbean Time CD including a compilation of folktale stories. First Book works with institutional partners to end Illiteracy and to reach millions of children to experience the joy of reading new books. First Book USA donated over 200 books to Bridge Foundation with support of JetBlue Airways Omar Lewis also read to students a “ Once Upon a Caribbean Time,” story and asked children to join him to tell the story. JetBlue gave out “ tiny clip wings” to students to memoralize their exchange with students.
