The Venue Spring - is about “lings” …ducklings, nestlings, saplings, lamblings and such.. The Dream All little girls dream of that perfect wedding. There must be a prince charming, oh and a princess. There needs to be a host of cuddly toddlers bearing cushions with rings and baskets of petals. There should be strings of bridesmaids that are beautiful, yet pale in comparison to the bride. It must be set in some quaint cathedral in the countryside with lots of doves and the choicest of blooms. The reception must have all the latest fashion knit together with the finest cuisine and décor fit for a queen. Who wouldn’t want a string quartet in some idyllic garden at one of the finest establishments in the land?

The Reality Sadly for most this remains a dream. It all boils down to what you can afford and how creative your imagination is. There are some fixed costs involved when planning a wedding but don’t let budget restraints dash your hopes. I think the starting point is the theme. Many wedding venues offer a certain ambience that pairs excellently with certain wedding styles. One would hardly have a “beach party” theme at the Michael Angelo Conference Centre; or a formal white wedding at Wimpy.
