Hotel Izulu is committed to operating in a greener
more eco-friendly environment. The hotel has an
organic herb and vegetable garden which provides
a daily supply of fresh vegetables for use in GiGi’s
restaurant. The principle source of food for the garden
is the output of the “wormery” - one of several “green”
initiatives adopted by the Hotel.
An organic Orangery thrives in this climate and
there is a range of citrus trees each planted in individual
terracotta pots. Topiary is a prominent element of the
garden, which has become a place for relaxation
