If this is the case , brands would need to portray their clothing brand on social media apps used by this target audience . The popularity of snapchat for young adults was used as an opportunity by ASOS by which they were featured on ‘ Snapchat ’ during London Fashion Week , whereby discounts were available for those who viewed . Hypothetically this would have led to higher exposure and more publicity thus more sales . Overall , ‘ London fashion week ’ s story ’ was watched more than 20 million times in the UK , Germany , France and Australia . . ( Williams- Grutm , 2016 ) Needless to say , this would have led to high exposure for ASOS .
