need assesses their company whilst using the tool ‘SWOT’
as a structure to identify any issues, opportunities, and
strengths and threat the companies has encountered. Early
identification of the issues may help a business differ from
other competitors/brands. (Williams, 2016) The researcher
has explored and analysed a variety of brands within the mass
market. Despite this, the researcher has focused ‘Topshop’ as
a key contender within the mass market sector for both its instore and online retailing system.
