The good news is Brewings Magazine finally won an award from the BCCA in the
Newsletter contest. We scored 2nd place for a chapter under 50 members and I was
told it was a very close vote. We’ve been working very hard toward this for a long

time and I want to thank all the contributors
who write
the articles
for the Newsletter
as they are a huge part of this award.
This year we’ll be shooting for first
place. Brewings TV debuted a brand
new set and we have improved
lighting and this makes for better
and easier editing. We are doing the
video version of Brewings to bring
you stories and updates faster than
we can in our quarterly newseltter.
Plus video is fun to make and to
watch. I am planning on making
some updates to our website as it’s
had the same look for a while now. I
have an upgrade to my software and
hopefully this winter I can work on this. I also want to add an online museum to the
website with pictures of Schell’s, Hauenstein and other local breweriana. Your
directors are looking into the possibility of adding 1
or 2 new shows at some exciting venues that should
attract potential new members and add to the
overall collecting and networking experience. We’ll
have more on this as it develops. We’ve had a really
good year with our best spring show in 3 or 4 year,
great weather for Stubiefest and lots of other good
collecting experiences. We want to thank Schell’s
